Well, I didn't quite complete the challenge---short 7 pictures. But it was a great exercise for me, learning to look at small details and slowly improving my photography skills a bit. For 2011, I've started a new blog and a new One Hundred Photo Challenge. Come visit me over at My Father's World.

I have been watching this kingfisher (or one of his cousins) sitting on the wires over the duck pond in the early morning for years. I finally was able to snap his picture. I like the contrast between nature and technology with all those wires!!
